Giving Children & Young People a voice on conflict

Miri Roshni were delighted to collaborate with Never Such Innocence on a series of virtual poetry workshops with author, Nik Perring.

The aim of the workshop were to build upon the creative confidence of our children in a fun and innovative way. The poems were based on the theme, ‘Life After Conflict’ where young people around the world are asked to share their thoughts on how individuals, communities, and countries recover, resolve, rebuild, reflect and remember.

The children thoroughly enjoyed the sessions with many touching poems created. Have a look at the poems created here.

A big thank you to Nik Perring and Never Such Innocence. Well Done to all MR students for your fantastic, insightful and thought-provoking poems.
