Braille E - Quran
Apply for an Electronic Braille Quran:
Advanced braille-based technology is being used to create the Haramain electronic Qur’an, allowing blind and visually impaired Muslims to read and access the verses of Islam’s holy book more easily.
The device, which is nearly six inches long and four inches wide, means users can move smoothly between pages using high-quality braille cells.
Blind people read in only one way, which is the prominent Braille method by touch. Due to the thickness of the paper, the Holy Quran was printed in 6 very large and heavy volumes. It is difficult to carry it or move between it’s suras and it’s pages.
A small and easy to use portable electronic device that contains an electronic line in the prominent Braille method. It translates the letters of the Holy Quran in the approved King Fahd edition into Braille in an electronically animated manner. The device has buttons for numbers for easy access to pages and suras.
Being able to read the Qur’an is important to all Muslims; Miri Roshni wish to give blind Muslims the same opportunity by donating a Braille E- Qur’an to registered blind/ visually impaired Muslims.
